Alex, a Watertown native, graduated from Watertown Senior High School in 2009 and attended South Dakota State University. She completed the dental assisting program at Lake Area Technical Institute in Watertown, and graduated in May 2011. She joined her father (Dr. Wilson) at Wilson Orthodontics as an orthodontic assistant.
Alex chose orthodontics because she loves developing personal relationships with patients and helping them throughout all aspects of the orthodontic experience. For her, the best part is seeing their new, confident smiles at the end of treatment!
In her free time, Alex enjoys golfing, fishing, boating, and playing with her German Shepherd. She also cherishes time spent with friends, her boyfriend, and family.
Jackie received her degree in dental assisting from Minnesota West in Canby in 2009. She joined our office in 2016, and she assists Dr. Wilson and educates patients with their orthodontic needs. Jackie loves helping patients achieve beautiful, confident smiles!
Jackie is originally from Wabasso, Minnesota, and now lives in Sioux Falls. She enjoys staying active by running, working out, and playing softball, and loves spending time with her friends and family, especially her son DaShawn.
Kristi’s passion for orthodontics is evident when you meet her. She has more than 20 years of experience in the orthodontic field and is Dr. Wilson’s treatment coordinator/appointment coordinator. During your initial consultation, Kristi will present your treatment plan and explain financial arrangements. She takes pride in her work, loves meeting new people, and enjoys helping them understand the importance of orthodontics. The most rewarding part of her job is seeing patients’ smiles from start to finish!
Kristi has been married for 28 years and has three children: two daughters and a son. Soon, she’ll be an “empty nester.” Her favorite activity is spending time with family. Her son Mitchell is a baseball player, so she spends most of her spare time at the baseball field. Kristi also loves to travel and spend time with her church family.
Patty, a Sioux Falls native, graduated from SDSU with a Bachelor of Science in nursing and a master’s in public health/health services administration from the University of Minnesota. She is the former director of nursing medical/surgical/mental health services at McKennan Hospital and vice president of patient care services at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown. She began her involvement with the office more than 15 years ago after retiring from her nursing practice.
As the business manager, Patty works with the staff to build a strong team concept, and a positive, fun work environment. She assists with growing and developing the staff in their professional practice. Another important part of her job is to build relationships with patients and their families and assist them with any financial concerns or questions.
Patty enjoys being an active member of her community and has volunteered in many different capacities. Most recently, she was president of the Watertown School District. She enjoys gardening, reading, and spending time with her blended family of seven children and soon-to-be five grandchildren.
